My Story

Are you seriously committed to creating a major change in your life? Is life or entrepreneur coaching for you?

Being a shy person I wanted to learn tangible skills to manage any social situation, to carry on a conversation without stumbling on my words, and to enjoy meeting new people instead of being scared and nervous.

Without a college certificate or university degree I had to work harder than my peers to prove my abilities, gain credibility and receive the promotions I wanted in my career. I also had to learn additional soft skills on my own to survive in a highly competitive corporate world.

My journey to Holistic Directions probably involves lots of things in common with you. Things don’t just happen overnight and I went through a lot of challenges to get to the place I am now – and it was worth it.

I was deeply curious and wanted to know… what is ‘the difference that makes the difference’ between people that are successful and their peers who have similar qualifications, talents and abilities. What is their ‘secret’?

I invested $1000’s in self-help books and audio cassettes and attended numerous development courses with some of the best trainers in the personal and professional development field. I learned tools that with training and practice I began to overcome many of my personal and work challenges. I felt more self-assured and started doing presentations at work.

And I took the initiative to approach people I didn’t know at social events. Yet I still didn’t feel I had the level of confidence I really wanted… something was missing.

It was about that time that I was invited to attend a conference in England. One of the extra options to attend was a seminar introducing Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – the title alone was enough to tickle my curiosity and I readily signed up.

That first NLP training in 2008 was the beginning of a wonderful journey of self discovery, learning and personal development at a level that I had never experienced at any time in my life! I went from being shy and hiding to comfortable speaking in front a live audience. My overall confidence soared, my values and intentions are aligned, and my relationships have deepened. Most importantly, the course taught me how to have a loving relationship with myself!

That same year I decided to start my own business as an NLP Trainer, Coach and Professional Speaker. After many years certifying individuals as NLP Classic Code, New Code, and Master NLP Practitioners, I now have the great pleasure of mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs who want to use NLP to expand their business. Specifically, I coach and mentor coaches on how to earn the income they desire so they can enjoy more autonomous, intentional, successful businesses and live their dream of making a positive impact in the world!
